This didn't happen all in this week but just trying to catch up on the last few weeks!!
We had a guy call us because he found a Book of Mormon in the park and a club and the one that found it in the park was Catholic and he was super interested in learning about what this book so just showed that the person you actually give the book to isn't always the one that actually needs it.
We went to the embassy with Bro Willis and went bowling and he bought us all this food which was awesome!!
We always walk past this guy who sells coconuts on the side of the street and this one day he told us to get in his auto and he'd give us a ride home. The auto didn't have a roof or anything on the outside and it was the funniest thing ever! This is what I'd call a convertible auto.
There's this place in my area which is sector 7 R.K. Puram and it always smells so bad when you walk past it! My hand never smells so good when I walk past there!
We had previously called someone and they said it was a wrong number but for some reason when I was looking at their number later and I felt to call them again. Turns out it was this guy and his brother and they wanted to know what happens after he dies. One believes Jesus Christ is a prophet and we need to follow him. Don't strike someone off just because you get a wrong number.
I'm unconsciously making Indian food, I tried to make soup but instead, I made what tasted like a curry but without any spices, maybe when I try to make a curry it'll turn out like a soup next time.
It was nearly Holi last Monday and kids threw water bombs at us while on the bus and it was so funny seeing everyone get wet. We played cricket with nearly the whole mission and it was really fun!!
They have fresh lemon water on the side of the ride and it is just the best thing ever, it tastes so good!!!
It was HOLI!!!!!!! Holi is all about throwing your essence on others which is a pretty cool thing and I need to bring it back to Australia! I wore a white kurta so all the colour would really stand out but all the water just washed it all off and it doesn't look as cool as I thought. President was playing with us too so it was fun getting to throw coloured powder and water bombs at him too! The Holi celebrations started early too! The night before we saw some elders outside throwing water bombs so we went out on the balcony to throw bombs at them and it was the greatest. Bad idea I thought I was safe so I stepped out of the apartment but Elder Veera was right there with this coloured water and he poured it all over me and I was like ahhh. He completely ruined everything I had on but yeah so all these missionaries had a massive water fight in the apartments and it was pretty fun!
We got back to the apartment and Sister Dorairaj was like congratulations and I was like congratulations for what? She ran into Sister Sasidhar and was like they haven't informed them yet. Later I got a call from the zone leaders and they were like transfers are out and you are now an STL (Sister Training Leader) and will be serving in Janakapuri with Sister Dorairaj (I think that's how you spell it) It's just a homegroup so that'll be new and exciting!!
